In Office 2013/2016 all contact folders are not shown in the address book when pressing To/CC/BCC. Instead the option must be turned on.
Here is an example of a contact folder Test
not being listed in the address book after pressing To
when addressing a message to send. We would like to list Test
as an option as well.
Steps to add the additional folder to the Address Book
- Go to your Contacts area
- Right Click on the folder you want to add to the address book and choose Properties
- Tick the Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book checkbox while viewing the Outlook Address Book tab
- Now the folder should be listed in the Address Book, in this case Test will be listed
Remember contacts will not show up in the list if they do not have an email address associated with the contact.
